G. Foreman, one of Ali’s opponents, whom Muhammad Ali beat in the Rumble in the Jungle, pays tribute ;
‘Ali is one of greatest human beings’
Nicknamed, The Greatest, Champion and 20th century Titan, said himself:
I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was.
His success percentage was 92% (56 out of 61 fights) over the professional career which lasted for 21 years.
And, yes, he became World Heavyweight Champion three times in his life.
Doesn’t it inspire you ?
We can learn these 7 lessons from his remarkable and legendary life.
On the way to success , you will meet failures; disappointments; miseries and sufferings but always remember what Ali said.
2. Have faith in ‘YOU’
When you have faith in yourself, you become never afraid of meeting new challenges.
You never try to escape the obstacles, hurdles, and fences, you name it.
You have to believe that you can do it; this is an indispensable step.
Let me remind, Ali believed in himself. He was not afraid. He had faith in himself. And you must have it too.
3. Word ‘Impossible’ Itself Says ‘I M Possible’
Ali never believed in impossibilities. See what he said :
Impossible is just a word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.
4. Your Dreams Should Scare You
Don’t be afraid to think big.
If people do not laugh at your dreams, then they are not big enough.
5. What Is Your Job, Boy ? Find it
6. Start Taking Risks
Living a life-without-risks? Or you are an i-never-take-risk man?
Mark Zuckerberg says:
The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that’s changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.
If you want to accomplish something in your life and want to give it a meaning , you would better start taking risks now.
Read what Ali, who accomplished, Athlete of the Century Award in 1999 , said:
7. You Have Worth
An African proverb;
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.
Do you have any idea about the size of Mold Spore? Maybe, any guess?
It rang in size from 3 to 40 microns (A human hair is 100-150 microns).
The First step, go! find your worth! (*shouts*)
If you still think you are worthless, it is better you read these golden words;
